CLOUD PROJECT

Proposing a Research Institute, so mine was focused around the study clouds and formation of rain by the use of lasers to modify climates and benefit the environment. Production of artificial clouds is to test the amount of rainfall, a cloud can make and how we can increase this to larger scale for places that suffer with drought, or stop rainfall forming in real clouds to prevent flooding for example in places like South Africa, Chile, Sudan and California. Applying the use of water to cool the building by using the adjacent reservoir. Also, by producing clouds around the building at certain times of the day to reduce the impact of high intensity sunlight heating up the internal spaces. It will provide an educational research centre for adults of all ages to learn about climate change and how research is being undertaken to modify climatic problems via the use of lasers. It will also open be open up to the public with the use of the buildings design to allow public to flow through spaces and be able to view these clouds form before their eyes.
